Small on purpose

Three treatment rooms, four practitioners, and a booking calendar we keep deliberately un-crammed so nobody is rushed — including you.

Juniper & Sage opened in 2019 in a former florist's shop on Alder Street. We kept the good bones — tall windows, worn fir floors — and added what a bodywork studio actually needs: serious tables, real linen, and sound insulation that means you'll never hear the room next door.

We schedule thirty minutes between appointments. That gap is the whole business model: your therapist has time to reset the room, wash up, and read your intake notes before you walk in. It means we see fewer clients per day than most studios. We think it's why they come back.

The practitioners

Licensed, insured, and genuinely picky about continuing education.

Maya Torres smiling in a striped jacket

Maya Torres

Founder & Lead Therapist

LMT since 2011. Trained in Swedish, deep tissue, and prenatal massage; the one who insists on the thirty-minute gaps between appointments.

Alana Reyes in teal scrubs with arms crossed

Alana Reyes

Esthetician

Ten years in clinical skin care before going independent. Builds every facial from a consult and keeps meticulous notes between visits.

Sam Whitfield in a dark green polo shirt

Sam Whitfield

Massage Therapist

Former physical therapy assistant, which shows in his deep tissue work. Ask him about the difference between sore and injured — he has a whole speech.
